Story

What is your idea?

A virtual detox typically refers to a period of time during which someone intentionally disconnects from digital devices and online activities to recharge and focus on offline pursuits.

What problem does it solve?

Addictive nature of specific digital activities like gaming, social media.More than 50 per cent of the youth (18-24 years old) in India have poor mental health.

How your idea will help people?

The Digital Detox  is an invitation to intentionally reduce screen time and rediscover the pleasures of being fully present in the non-digital world.

IDEA

We would initially launch with a centre where people who feel stressed out would come in and enjoy by participating in some creative activities. These activities include:

  • String art
  • Painting
  • Pottery
  • Talking your heart out sessions
  • Practising mindfulness

We would like to provide tailored treatment plans. Our plans our based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • It is based on the connections between your thoughts, emotions and behaviours and how they can influence.
    • Short term treatment plan
    • The techniques we follow include:
  • Guided discovery, exposure therapy, journaling and thought record, activity scheduling, behavioural experiments, relaxation and stress reduction techniques.

Innovation

  • Mostly wellness centres only focus on anxiety, anger management, stress and sleep but we would also like to include internet addiction and nomophobia.
  • We would like to open a centre where interested people can come and enjoy being themselves. Put their phones aside and indulge themselves in interesting activities.

WHICH SEGMENT OF PEOPLE DOES YOUR IDEA BELONG TO?

    • Digital Overwhelmed Individuals
  • Technology Addicts
  • Parents and Families
  • Professionals and Students
  • Mental Health Seekers
